East View Court - Minden Housing Agency

East View Court is an elderly complex constructed with Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds in 1966 to house elderly tenants (62 years of age or older) with limited income. In recent years, new laws and regulations permitted East View Court to house people with disabilities and also "near-elderly" (50 years or older).

Applicants for East View Court must be under a certain income limit in order to be eligible to live here. Once a person is accepted to live at East View Court, they will be required to "re-certify" on an annual basis. Recertification means that all income, medical expenses, etc. will be verified once a year. Also a physical inspection of your unit will be done once a year.
